Privacy Policy

Pre-release notice: this policy is a working draft for the upcoming Wordy release. It will be reviewed before public launch to match the final SDKs, advertising setup and account features used by the app.

1. About Wordy

Wordy is a word-category game for mobile devices. This Privacy Policy explains how information may be processed when you use Wordy, its online services and this website.

2. Information the game may process

Gameplay information: level progress, scores, survival results, challenge results, unlocked content and in-game inventory.
Online identifiers: an internal player identifier and, where enabled, platform gaming identifiers such as Apple Game Center information.
Device and technical information: app version, operating system, device type, diagnostics and crash information.
Advertising information: advertising and consent-related identifiers where advertising is enabled and permitted by your settings and applicable law.
Purchase information: entitlement and transaction status needed to deliver in-app purchases. Payment-card details are handled by Apple or Google and are not collected by Wordy.
Voice input: if you choose to use voice input, speech may be processed by the operating system or a speech-recognition provider to convert it to text. The final implementation will be described here before launch.

3. How information is used

Information may be used to provide gameplay, save progress, operate leaderboards and daily challenges, deliver purchases and rewards, prevent abuse, diagnose technical problems, improve the game and show advertising where applicable.

4. Third-party services

Wordy may use platform services and service providers for app distribution, purchases, gaming features, advertising, analytics, crash reporting and hosting. The final list of production providers will be added before public release.

5. Data retention

Local gameplay data may remain on your device until you reset progress or remove the app. Server-side data, once online accounts and leaderboards are enabled, will be retained only for as long as reasonably necessary for the service, security and legal obligations.

6. Your choices

You may be able to disable sound, voice input, personalized advertising or other optional features through Wordy, your device settings or an advertising-consent interface. Where an account exists, you may request deletion as described on the Delete Account page.

7. Children

Wordy is intended as a general-audience casual game unless a specific store listing states otherwise. The game is not designed to knowingly collect personal information from children in violation of applicable law.

8. Security and international processing

Reasonable technical and organizational safeguards are used to protect service data. Online services may process data in countries other than your own, subject to the safeguards required by applicable law.

9. Changes

This policy may be updated when Wordy features, service providers or legal requirements change. The latest version will always be published on this page.
